On March 10th and 11th, 2011, a two day Symposium
was held at the University of Birmingham UK on 'Religious Pluralism and the
Modern World: an ongoing philosophical engagement with John Hick'. After a
Welcome by Anita Bhalla, the High Sherriff of the West Midlands, papers were
given by

Schmidt-Leukel of the University of Munster, Germany; Dr Alan Race of the St.
Philip's Interfaith Centre, Leicester, UK; Professor Julius Lipner of Cambridge
